Hello! Welcome to Ms. Cincotta's Classroom Website!
This is my fifth year at Mill Pond School, and I am loving every single second. I currently live in Westborough with my family - my mom, dad, and brother, Anthony. I am very close with my family! I am also lucky enough to get to coach volleyball back at my old stomping grounds - Westborough High School. This will be my 5th year as the head-coach for the JV Volleyball team. Go Rangers!
I recently earned my Master's degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst (May 8, 2015!) and right before that I earned my Bachelor's degree from University of Massachusetts Amherst (2014). I was an Honors major in Psychology and I earned a double minor in Education and Spanish.
Before my start at Mill Pond, I completed my student teaching hours in 3 very diverse locations. I started in 4th and 5th grade in an Amherst (suburban) school - Crocker Farms Elementary School. Then I worked in a Springfield (urban) school - Kensington International Baccalaureate Elementary School in a 5th grade special education class. Lastly, I worked in 2nd grade at Shutesbury Elementary School (rural), which was a teeny tiny school on top of a mountain in the Amherst area.
When I'm not teaching, I love to travel with my family, grab coffee with friends, read, attend musicals (Wicked!!), explore photography, and scrapbook! My favorite place in the whole world is Old Orchard Beach, Maine; beautifully placed right next to the ocean and full of so many family memories. My other favorite place is Disney World - my family still loves the magic!
I am looking forward to having an amazing rest of the year with this phenomenal group of students.
