This past Friday before February break, we celebrated in a variety of ways! First, we had a class Wacky Hair Day! Now, this takes a lot of confidence for the students to put themselves out there when nobody else in the school is participating. With that being said, we surely have some confident students! Once we all agreed that if we ALL commit to the crazy hair, then the better it will be (I sadly do not have a picture of my terrifying, I mean, crazy hair!) We had stuffed animals in hair, dyed hair, boys with pigtails, hair clips, bows, barrettes, flowers, and pencils! It was certainly CRAZY!
Next on the agenda, we had a very fun-filled cookie celebration (without nuts - thank you Moms, Dads, and Guardians!)!! The kids were given their plate of goodies and were allowed to do/eat/decorate however they pleased!! Let's just say, many of them had red and pink lips by the end. But, they had a blast and loved that they each had their own plate!
THANK YOU THANK YOU to everyone who contributed items. I could not do my job without the help and support of all of you! So, THANK YOU!
