As a school, we are very lucky to have Technology Curriculum Specialist, Stephanie Garrett. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable about our school resources, but she seeks out new resources that she thinks our students will love and learn from (and she is always right on the money!)! So this past weekend, Mrs. Garrett signed up B025 for a new online literacy program to test out; it is called CSI Literacy. It is Crime Scene Investigations of historical events, where the kids have to read about the past and then answer questions! It is so much fun, I couldn't stop playing it myself after the first day! It's one of those activities where you're learning, but doesn't seem like it!
One of the benefits, is that this program can be accessed from school and from home as long as they have an internet connection - perfect timing for April break! The pictures below are from the first day we tried it out during Activity Period (they couldn't get enough)! Also, here is the link in case they want to give it a try at home (www.csi-literacy-cloud.com). Their username and password are the same -- first letter of first name and their full last name. For example, John Smith would be: username: jsmith password: jsmith. Happy Learning!
