As you know, the kids have been working tirelessly on their natural disasters projects. They have completed research, written a powerful paper, created a project that goes along with their paper, written black out poems, and now they get to show off all their hard work with the rest of the world and Mill Pond Community. With the help of our school's Technology Curriculum Specialist, Stephanie Garrett, we are creating a Google Classroom Website, where each student will be able to create a webpage to showcase all of their hard work. Not only are they so exciting about this, but they are taking it very seriously and are designing webpages that look like the real-deal. Here are some pictures taken throughout this whole Natural Disaster Unit -- from the research, to learning about each disaster, from writing, and to finally working on Google sites. You will notice that some kids even have 2 devices going at the same time (Chromebooks and their iPads - they are so skilled with the technology!!)
Enjoy!
